#Xscreensaver no password install
If it matters, this is an install in virtualbox on win10 and I haven’t had this issue with other DE’s (mainly tried cinnamon) and it doesn’t happen on the initial login to XFCE. because it can know up front that there is no password that will work. I still have a lot of tweaking to do, but I’m working on all of that. When the screen is blocked, the xscreensaver (version 5.35) password prompt pops out without any mouse/touchpad movement.
